California Special strain

 

The California Special strain is an indica-dominant marijuana cross of an original California and a Skunk. Both parent strains are known for their high narcotic qualities. 

 

The aim of the breeders was to transfer the desired characteristics into a new cannabis strain. The ease of cultivation and high yields of the Original California were to be combined with the genes of the Skunk, which grows almost everywhere, in a new marijuana strain. 

 

 

These great qualities are paired in the California Special with a unique smell and smoke. Its very interesting smell and taste, shows a well balanced mix of a sweet orange and a skunky hash. This catapulted this new strain straight to the top of the international cannabis markets!

 

Since California Special is an indica strain, the seeds produce slightly bushy marijuana plants with light green, narrow leaves around a thin and robust stem. The ratio of leaves to buds is balanced so that her buds have enough space and light to develop fully. 

 

California Special accordingly thrives well both indoors and outdoors. Flowering time in indoor grow is 7-10 weeks and reaches a growth height of 130cm, while harvesting outdoors can take place from late September to mid-October. Here the cannabis plants can reach massive heights of up to 3 meters!

 

The California Special strain is vigorous, disease resistant and potent. It is very resinous, with the resin reaching almost to the end of the large fan leaves. The more branched specimens tend to be the highest yielders. Wherever you grow California Special, a great yield is guaranteed - 130 g/plant indoors and up to 700g/plant outdoors.

 

As a typical indica, California Special contains a higher CBD than THC content in the flowers, resulting in a heavier, sleepy effect, ideal for your total mind and body relaxation and pain relief.
