Southafrican Kwazulu is a pure sativa that originates from the Drakensberg mountain region in South Africa. It has a relatively short flowering time and impresses with its sweet taste and energetic high.

The indigenous Zulus have been cultivating this strain for generations in the area around Shaka, a warrior village that is also home to the most important growers. If the legends are to be believed, the Zulus used this plant in their war rites long before the first attack by the British in 1879.
