Initially, the Big Bud cannabis plant was a robust Afghanica infused with Skunk genes. A cross that already had incredible strength and record-breaking yields. No wonder, then, that it quickly became a popular commercial marijuana strain. But it wasn't until Holland that the plant reached its true and still well-known nature by backcrossing with Skunk #1.

 

The current version of the Big Bud strain still retains the vitality of the original clone, but has been enhanced with sweet, fruity flavors. In addition, a significant improvement in potency has been achieved through crossbreeding. However, tremendous production remains the central feature of Big Bud. Plants that require full flowering grow slightly taller and are usually the highest yielding specimens. 

 

The strain of Big Bud is thick and robust, but the sheer masses of huge, sweet, sparkling buds that the plant produces also set natural limits. The production of the plant can become so heavy that especially the lower branches bend and also threaten to break. Please be sure to support the most promising branches with string or taut wire! Nothing would be more annoying than to be rewarded by a deliberate too much in the end!

 

Since Bid Bud is a typical Indica, the cannabis seeds grow into short, fast-maturing cannabis plants. With a flowering time of only 7-9 weeks, the plant remains compact and is easy to manicure. Thus, the cannabis plant is also an ideal cannabis strain for indoor growing. Big Bud grows well in a group of plants or as a larger single plant. The yield is 550-700 g/m² indoors. 

Under the ideal conditions - in temperate climates - it also grows well outdoors, where its early flowering can be the clincher for you. Usually ready for harvest from mid-October. The yield is 250-450 g/plant when grown outdoors!

 

During growth, Big Bud remains compact. However, left unattended, Big Bud expands and can triple its growth size when the light cycle changes! The massive buds have a needle-green color, are extremely heavy and dense, and impress with their rich, skunk and hash-like aroma. 

 

Big Bud's flavor and aroma are distinct, with hints of lemon, pine, and spice. She offers a strong and balanced indica effect that is initially cerebrally stimulating, but later more physically long-lasting relaxing.
