Tangerine Sugar strain

 

 

Tangerine Sugar strain is a feminized, photoperiod seed from the renowned breeder Sensi Seeds from the Netherlands. The strain is a sativa-heavy hybrid and is the result of crossing two award-winning top sativas with a classic California Indica. While the plants take some time to harvest, growers are compensated with high yields and a true explosion of flavor.

 

The flowering period is between 63 and 70 days, at the end of which indoor growers can expect 550 g/m2 of dried flowers. If grown outdoors under the sun, it can reach 600 grams or more per plant. For outdoor growing, Tangerine Sugar loves warm, sunny climates, making it suitable for growing in temperate to warm-Mediterranean climates. Indoors, of course, can be grown anytime, anywhere. The plants have an above average growth spurt after the changeover to flowering and should therefore not be taller than 20 cm during the light changeover to reach a final height of 100 and 120 cm. Outdoors, the strain will grow well over 2m. 

 

This is where the dominant sativa genes of the strain make themselves felt. After smoking, a euphoric and energetic mood sets in, often accompanied by a creative boost. Subtly mixed in with this is the physical relaxation and a deep sense of well-being induced by the indica side of Tangerine Sugar strain. The effect is moderate to strong and lasts for several hours.

 

This strain is a real fruit cocktail. Besides the tangerine and grapefruit flavors, other citrus fruits and even a hint of pineapple can be found in the terpene profile. As a counterpoint to all the fruity notes, there is also an earthy flavor component that balances out the sweetness.
