Feminized indica / sativa hybrid cannabis seeds are the result of many years of breeding and optimization. In these strains, Cannabis indica and Cannabis sativa genes mix in a more or less balanced ratio. Most modern cannabis seeds are hybrids. However, in very different proportions. An indica dominant marijuana strain may have only minor sativa characteristics. The reverse is also true for sativa dominant marijuana plants.
