Just a few years ago, THC levels of over 20% were an exception, achieved by only a handful of strains. Legendary here are the old Afghani strains, which are still very popular, such as Afghan Kush Special. An "old" variety with an extremely high THC level. Not to forget: these cannabis seeds have been available for well over 20 years, making them real classics. Since then, however, cannabis cultivation has increased in the truest sense of the word. At the latest with the complete legalization of marijuana in Canada and large parts of the USA, new standards have been set in terms of potency. Cannabis strains with a THC level of over 20% are now part of the standard range. Indica varieties such as Jealousy, Break Pad Breath, Starfire OG or AlienZ reach a THC content of 25% or more when grown under good conditions. These strains are therefore more for the experienced. In any case, high THC levels should be well tolerated.
